Voalte’s Client Hospitals Named Best in Nation

The recent U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals list featured many clients of Voalte, a leader in clinical communications technology. The clients ranked include Massachusetts General ranking at No. 1 on the Honor Roll for best hospital along with Texas Children’s (No. 4) and Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago (No. 9) making the Honor Roll for best children’s hospital. Developmental partners Sarasota Memorial, Cedars-Sinai and Huntington Memorial made the specialty rankings.

Massachusetts General Ranked No.1 Hospital, Texas Children’s and Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s make U.S. News & World Report Honor Roll 
SARASOTA, Fla. (July 19, 2012) – Voalte is excited to congratulate many of its clients for making the 2012-13 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals list. Massachusetts General Hospital ranked No. 1 in the nation supplanting Johns Hopkins Hospital for the first time since 1991. Additionally, Texas Children’s Hospital (No. 4) and Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago (No. 9) made the U.S. News Honor Roll for best children’s hospitals in the country.
In addition to those who made the Honor Roll, Voalte’s developmental partners, Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Huntington Memorial Hospital, made the U.S. News specialty rankings. Sarasota Memorial ranked No. 47 in gynecology, while Cedars-Sinai ranked in 11 different specialties and Huntington Memorial Hospital in four different specialties.

U.S. News ranked hospitals across the country in 16 specialties, with rankings based on each hospital’s ability to “excel across a range of tough cases within each specialty.” The Honor Roll is the list of the top overall hospitals that ranked highly across the spectrum of categories.
Other Voalte clients receiving rankings in specialty categories include The Nebraska Medical Center and University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Altogether, 40 percent of Voalte’s clients received a ranking in at least one specialty.
