Online Services Will Include Chats, Secured-Data Share, and Health Monitoring

LAS VEGAS, NV (HIMSS 12 Conference) – February 23, 2012 – CHS Health Services™ (CHS) has partnered with HealthyCircles™, an enterprise-class health platform for care teams to greatly enhance the employee-patient collaborative care experience. CHS will incorporate the HealthyCircles portal’s robust functionality for consumers and providers into its Optic™ digital system to securely connect health care professionals to patients, their families and their caregivers via a comprehensive care management system.

In addition to offering easy access to communicate with a CHS onsite health center, the new features of the secured portal will allow CHS’ medical staff to extend their services beyond the physical onsite health center. The HealthyCircle platform will enable the ability to conduct online health challenges for employees, share health activity data with colleagues and health coaches, and video/online chat.

The system extends beyond traditional personal health records (PHR) and builds into CHS’ Optic portal, which already offers online appointment scheduling, e-visits, and electronic prescription refills, allowing more customization based on CHS client requirements and needs. This new level of service will provide CHS clients the ability to build an employer specific health benefit ecosystem that leverages their health offerings and magnifies the employer’s health spend to enhance the quality of care the employee receives.
