Company celebrates CNO Teresa Anderson’s appointment
SARASOTA, Fla. (Jan. 8, 2013) – Voalte, a leader in clinical communication technology, announced that the company’s chief nursing officer, Dr. Teresa Anderson, was recently inducted as President of the Nebraska Nurses Association, an organization that represents more than 25,000 nurses in the state. Voalte congratulates Dr. Anderson on this prestigious appointment for the 2013-2014 term.

In operation since 1906, the Nebraska Nurses Association serves as an advocate for nurses and patients, elevating the profession by improving health standards and expanding care access. Dr. Anderson, a native Nebraskan, plans to visit every Nebraska Nurses Association district and actively solicit feedback and suggestions on how the organization can advance the profession.
In addition to serving as chief nursing officer at Voalte, a company committed to helping nurses and other healthcare professions improve patient care through more efficient communications, Dr. Anderson is an active member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the American Nurses Association, Nebraska Organization of Nurse Leaders, and Sigma Theta Tau International. She is also employed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Silver Spring, Md. as a national Magnet Program® consultant.
Dr. Anderson has more than 30 years of nursing experience. She received her undergraduate and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Lincoln and Omaha campuses. She completed a doctorate in health care education from the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Neb.
