Westlake, Ohio—Oct. 1, 2012— Alego Health, an industry leader in electronic health record consulting, training, implementation and support, announced today that it has added 450 new project jobs and is experiencing tremendous growth through its local, regional and national clients. Alego continues to lead the industry in technology innovation with the introduction of its application based on the Apple iPad platform, which is designed to effectively manage EHR implementations.
This week, Alego will commence work on one of its largest projects to date. The company has recently secured a contract with a large regional health system to provide 24-hour support to seven of its regional hospitals. The project features the optimization and installation of Epic EHR Software Modules: CPOE (Computerized Physician Order Entry), ASAP (Emergency Room Module), OpTime (Operating Room Module), and Stork (Obstetrics Module).
“This Go-Live highlights the strengths of the Alego Health operations team by deploying 450 support persons and overseeing the management of that number of people over several hospitals,” said Mike Zavadil, vice president of operations, Alego Health.
Alego Health continues to grow its portfolio of large implementations along with the consulting and other healthcare IT-related work with which it is currently involved.
In addition, the company has introduced an iPad application exclusive to Alego Health. This application is designed to provide the company’s clients with instant, accurate information with respect to their EMR/EHR implementation in addition to the communication, documentation, and interactive features of the application. By using this application, users are able to instantly upload workflow information, communicate with key client resources, provide real time analytics, review clinical end user interaction logs, and store necessary documents digitally and securely.
